Tae-bo Step Aside ? Ru Paul's In The House

March 28th 2011 01:18

Work out Drag Queen style? In the episode 4, Totally Leotarded, the queens get physical and produce their own inspirational workout videos. Fitness guru Susan Powter directed the videos.

The first challenge was to create a leotard out of different colored duck tape. Yes, duck tape! Who knew duck tape came in different colors. The two winners were the team captains for the work out of your life videos.

This season has three plus size queens, Delta Works, Mimi Imfurst and Stacey Lane Matthews. These queens are being challenged by the “size does not matter” theory in the workout competition.

Each queen had to come up with a creative exercise to incorporate into the video. If ever there was a part of the show to skip this is it. If you can imagine eighties throwback and exercise you have the picture. Never the less, the contestants were judged individually on what seem to be the most sexually suggested workout videos ever. Is Ru running out of ideas, the show has never been too racey?

For the runway, the girls must pick something from their closet that insinuates the best part of their body. The plus size queens are pushed in an area they would ignore, their size.

This week’s judges are Michelle Visage, singer and TV/radio host, Billy B, fashion and entertainment makeup artist, and special guests Susan Powter and Latoya Jackson.

The judges did not like this look.

The week’s top three and bottom three contestants were: Mariah, Yara Sofia, India Ferrah, Mimi Imfurst, Stacy Layne Matthews, and Alexis Mateo. Billy B stated Mimi Imfurst’s workout video was a comedy sketch. Michelle Visage said Mimi’s workout video was a let down and a cross between Divine and Sally Struthers. India Ferrah bombed on the video and the runway.

These two queens, India Ferrah and Mimi Imfurst were up for elimination. “Two queens stand before me, ladies this is your last chance to impress me and save yourself from elimination. The time has come for you to Lip Sync for your lives and don’t f**k it up!” said Ru. The whole show is worth it for this final scene.

They had to Lip Sync to Thelma Houston’s, Don’t Leave Me This Way. The lip sync is going along fine as the queens leave the stage to woo the judges. Suddenly, Mimi Imfurst picks up India Ferrah! Yes, picks her up over her head and walks back to the stage! India Ferrah in her man voice yells, “Get her off of me!” In true drag queen fashion they both finish the song after Mimi puts India down! Amazing! No fighting, cussing or pointing took place.

Mimi Imfurst, Drag is not a contact sport!

Afterwards dramatic music plays and Ru says, “I’ve made my final decision. Mimi Imfurst, Drag is not a contact sport!” Hilarious!
Bye Mimi, Sashay Away!
