Heartbreak Hotel on RuPaul’s Drag Show. After thirteen episodes the field has dwindled, four queens are standing and the competition is fierce. In this episode the queens make dresses out of Ru money and coins. Sounds simple enough but could you really make a dress out of monopoly money?
The mini-challenge was for the queens to “sell it” on the home shopping channel, RUVC. The queens had to develop and promote a product that Ru would buy off the shopping channel. Some of the ideas were funny and some not so funny. Yara Sofia won the challenge.

For the main challenge the queens had to create three different money looks for the main stage! The looks included a Swimsuit Body Beautiful Bath Suit that would be hot enough to attract a billionaire. The second look was Cocktail After Five short flirty dress that turned heads. The third look was an Evening Gown Eleganza using two and a half million Ru dollars to create. Yara received extra fake cash to make her dress.

The queens, Raja, Manila, Alexis Mateo, and Yara Sofia were really stressing out with the work ahead. On top of making the dresses the queens had to choreograph a number together to La Toya Jackson’s song, Just Wanta Dance.

Alexis buckles under the pressure and starts packing her stuff. Yara tried to talk to Alexis but she walked out of the workroom. Alexis did return pulling it together to continue the competition.
This week's special judges
This weeks judges are Michelle Visage, singer and TV/radio host; Mike Ruiz, New York-based photographer; Gigi Levangie Grazer, novelist and screenwriter, and La Toya Jackson.
Evening Gown Eleganza
The judges thought Yara’s inspiration from Alexander McQueen was too busy. Alexis’ dress was good but the judges thought her other dresses were too simple. La Toya thought Manila’s hair was too big but her swimsuit and cocktail dress were a hit. Raja’s after five cocktail dress was critiqued as too plain.
Ru asked each queen, “Why do you deserve to be crowned the next drag superstar?”
Yara said she was broke and needed the money to move to the states.
Alexis said she was not perfect but works hard on being a better person and would wear the honor proudly. Manila said she comes from a good family and represents love.
Raja said she would like to leave a legacy for all the little boys that were like her teased, afraid and not able to express themselves. Raja said she wants to be an example of someone who is proud of what they do.

Yara missed the mark with her evening gown, too much and too gaudy. Manila won the dress challenge and Raja was safe. Alexis and Yara were up for elimination.

“Two queens stand before me, ladies this is your last chance to impress me and save yourself from elimination. The time has come for you to Lip Sync for your lives and don’t f**k it up!” The lip sync song was Patti Labelle’s I Think About You.

Alexis was great! Yara started to loose it. She started peeling off her huge money dress and had a melt down right in front of everyone. It was the most heartbreaking scene of the show. Yara was crying in a heap on the floor. The judges were even crying. Alexis Mateo Shante you stay! Yara Sofia Sashay away!
