Giggle, giggle giggle
upon a day far away a child is born the fairy’s say.
That child is special burning bright,
The twinkle in the fairy light.
It would be missed if took away,
So Fairy’s have a trick they play,
Like the bird the clever cuckoo,
They plant a changeling seeming true,
The changeling he will look the child,
His voice and manner meek and mild,
But flesh and bone is just a shell,
A glamor spun to trick you well,
Alas some changelings loose there way,
They will grow and try to stay,
But all that we fairy’s weave and sow,
Will one day fade, the truth will show,
That all we built will tumble down,
And changeling returns to Fairyholm.
